Frequently Asked Questions

Here you will find the answers to our most frequently asked questions.

If you do not find your answer here please contact us anytime and we will promptly answer it for you.

1. What will the photos look like?

Our most popular is the “Old School” type strip layout consisting of 2 – 2″x6″ photo strips. Each session in the photo booth will receive these two identical strips. Our corporate customers can enjoy having their logos on a single 4″x6″ photo layout with 1 large and 3 smaller photos, with space for corporate logos. Get detailed information here on our details page.

2. Is there a graphic on the photo strips?

A Graphic or Text can be placed on the photo layout. Typically for a wedding it is the bride’s  & grooms name along with the date. This is our default graphic. Some have used a monogram graphic, photo of bride and groom or another design. This is included with your rental. For example check out 2″x 6″, and 4″x 6″ graphic layout.

3. How does the photo booth provide favors for our guests?

A personalized wedding or event logo can be designed and printed on all the photos. This is provided at no additional charge. Your guests will actually want to keep and display these photos. It’s been proven for generations, photo booth photos are timeless! Unique and thoughtful favors can leave a lasting impression and add a personal touch to your event. Your guests will especially appreciate gifts that they can use and treasure — with the photo booth, they will be creating the favors themselves, as many as they like, and have loads of fun doing it together! There is tremendous appeal to the idea that your guests will enjoy the favor long after the event has passed. One thing’s for sure: the photo booth and these cool photo favors will give your event added pizzazz and personality!

4. What is the standard number of hours for a photo booth rental?

The normal duration for a wedding photo booth is 3 hours. Open around the time the guest are expected to arrive until the expected end of the night.  The photo booth is billed by the half hour (2 hour minimum), so we can provide 2 hour rentals and up.

5. What is early setup?

This is when the standard photo booth setup would fall in the middle of part of your event. For example
Photo booth start time is 8:00pm, we would normally setup at 7:00pm, but your cocktail hour is 7-8pm. We would need to setup 6:00pm which is “earlier” than normal, incurring the $40 early setup fee.

6. What is needed to reserve my date?

A down payment of 30% of the total fee.  Which is automatically calculated for you during the reservation process. And acceptance of the electronic Terms & Conditions.

7. Does the photo booth need any special hookups?

A normal AC power source is all that is needed, preferably within 10-20 feet.

8. How much space is needed for the photo booth?

We designed our photo booth so that it packs all the punch of a big photo booth in small package. Our setup with a backdrop takes up only about a 10 foot by 10 foot area.  Adding a prop table and guest book table adds to the space for the entire setup.  Please note also, guests will accumulate at the prop table and line up in the  photo booth area. So please plane for this when considering the location for the booth at your venue.

9. Do you have any suggestions on how to make sure we and our guests get as much use of the booth as possible?

Yes. We recommend that you promote the photo booth within the event to make sure that everyone knows that it is available and free. Many of our clients have come up with creative ways to do this, but it can be as easy as asking the DJ or MC at your event to make an announcement. You can also leave notes at each place setting instructing your guests to visit the photo booth. If you are planning on using the photo booth photos as your party favor, and have purchased frames or bookmark sleeves, you can leave these at each place setting with a set of instructions.

10. What does the  photo booth attendant/host do?

We host the photo booth to ensure a great experience for your guests and to keep things running smoothly. The host can provide assistance or posing suggestions, as needed (like you really need it). The host also helps guests in putting together a custom photo scrapbook/guestbook.

11. Does a scrap book come with the rental for my wedding?

Short answer No. Due to the varying nature of guests we have discontinued our scrap books. Guest are unpredictable and either do not want to leave a photo strip, or refuse to put one in the book for you. This is beyond our control and recommend using a online service such as Shutterfly.com or Walmart, Walgreens to take the digital photo strips from your event and create a professionally printed book on your own, that you can customise with other text and photos.
